It brings immense pleasure to share the remarkable collaboration between the esteemed Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University named after I.N. Ulyanov and Bonga University in Ethiopia. President Dr. Igor Petrishchev, accompanied by Tatiana Chibisova, a senior lecturer at the faculty of foreign languages, and Prof. Oksana Mayorova, CEO of the Pan-African Public Private Partnership Development Centre, marked a significant milestone as they celebrated 'student's day' at Bonga University.

Dr. Petros Woldegiorgis, the President of Bonga University, set the stage with a warm welcome, highlighting the vast potential of Ethiopia, particularly the region of Kafa, in research and development. Situated amidst precious natural resources, Bonga University holds a pivotal role in advocating for their sustainable utilization and conservation. Recognizing the importance of this endeavor not only for Ethiopia but for the broader African continent and beyond, Dr. Woldegiorgis emphasized the critical need for responsible stewardship.

Amidst the festivities, the Russian Language students at Bonga University, in the esteemed presence of Dr. Petros Woldegiorgis, came together to commemorate Student's Day on January 25, 2024. The event was marked by an engaging online video conference, where students delved into various aspects of campus life, including educational pursuits and examination experiences, in captivating discussions.
