The 2nd Annual National Research Conference is being held under the theme "Scientific Research, Indigenous Knowledge and Technology Transfer for Sustainable Development".

The Conference is being held on June 10-11, 2014 at Bonga University.

In his welcome message, Dr. Peter W / Giorgis, President of Bonga University, said higher education institutions are expected to work for the benefit of the society by transmitting and expanding indigenous knowledge through technology. 

Dr. Solomon Abraha, Executive Director of the Ministry of Education Administration and Infrastructure Affairs, gave an opening speech.
