The university lodge, which cost more than 47 million birr, has officially started to serve.

Bonga University President Dr. Petros W/Giorgis and various department heads and guests were present at the launch ceremony.

The university lodge has earned more than 47 million birr from internal revenue alone, and it has been stated that the lodge is designed to welcome both domestic and foreign guests.

Dr. Petros W. Giorgis, president of the university, told Kafa Television that the money used for the construction comes from the sale of bananas, honey, pineapples, dairy products and other incomes that the university grows in the campus.

The opening of the lodge has created job opportunities for 12 permanent workers and many temporary workers have also been created at the same time.
