About CDEP Directorate

CDEP directorate is one of the directorates under the Academic wing of Bonga University. CDEP is engaged in teaching programs in Continuing and Distance Education Program (CDEP) to address the need of vicinity and surrounding communities at large after doing a thorough need assessment.

CDEP directorate started teaching in the 2010 academic year by enrolling 242 undergraduate students in a program under the College of Business and Economics, Social sciences and Humanities, as well as Natural and Computational Science. Progressively, the directorate had expanded the programs in Summer and Evening, and currently, the total enrolment capacity of the Directorate reached 5,744 undergraduate students in a weekend, evening, and summer programs.

Continuing and Distance Education Program of the university contributes a lot to better achievement of the university’s mission by making the program well-integrated with the need of the community as well as the county.
